i like the fading of the pain on that strat, it looks liek a black that faded into a nice navy blue

I have soaked stark white plastic parts (pickup cover, knobs, switch tip) in coffee for a Strat and a strat copy. It worked pretty well, and it all depends on how "aged" you want something to look.

Can you help me with same details on the process? You sanded the parts before? How much time in coffee? Got same pics?

I just experimented with using vinegar to age some metal parts !!! Did a good kob of taking that brand new look off !!! Will post pix soon !!!
