Bad chip - how much for repair?

Epiphone Les Paul For Sale in Tallaght, Dublin. Buy Electric Guitars
If you look at the second picture there is quite a large chip on the neck. Does anyone know how much this would cost to get fixed?
I'm not sure if the guy who offered before me has bought it yet or if it's still available but I'm making this post as I said I could get it off him tomorrow if he still has it so I would like to know.
It's a LP Standard right? This is too good of a deal to pass on.

just fix it yourself, it would be very easy. also it looks like a standard plus top.

its poly... which imho is not easy to repair.
it looks like the paint chipped 100% off. either leave it... sand the neck so its all natural (also tough with poly), or send the picture to a local luthier and get a rough quote.

Yeah best bet would be to sand the neck down to the wood and seal it but that will not be an easy task.

And IMO I wouldn't buy that guitar even though it looks nice just because polyester is dang near bullet proof and it takes a good hit to knock a chunk of it out like that. And since it's on the neck that is even scarier to think of how out of whack it is from the hit.

Just my opinion though

Re: Bad chip - how much for repair?

as said above considering how tough the poly coating is, the guitar must have taken a massive whack to rip a chunk off like that. You'd wonder if there are any other issues now with the guitar.

Its the sort of damage which would make me not want to buy the guitar without inspecting it in person.
