70's Aria Les Paul copy

Hello Everyone,
i recently made a new purchase and picked up a 1973 (according to the owner) Aria Les Paul. i have the S/N if anybody wants to confirm.

The owner made some room in the middle for a 3rd pickup.

the guitar looks fantastic, i dont mind the dings and scratches at all and the sound is great but there is room for improvement.

the guitar came with the original humbuckers and a 3rd humbucker from that same era of Aria les pauls.

i removed the pickguard last night but forgot to take pics.

there are a few things that i would like to fix, im sure you noticed the tele/strat type pickup selector :S:S:S , i dont know why in the world he did that, i was wondering if i can replace it with a les paul type selecter because it looks like he made a bigger gap on the body :S

The headstock was all scratched up, so he took some paper/clear type and made a gibson custom diamond logo :S , im not worried about that , i should be able to remove it and like i said, i dont mind the scratchs.
