Paint Prep Question- Good filler??
Hey, Just a quick prep question, after down to bare wood, what is a good filler for knicks and dings and wear marks before sealer? If it makes any difference, my next project will end up a non-transparent finish. Thanks!

Bondo.
![]() Seriously, though... I've used Dap Wood Putty. I've use it even on non-guitar finishes that aren't solid (takes a little art, to make a matching fake-grain). |

Re: Paint Prep Question- Good filler??
I highly recommend using Behlen's Por-O-Pac pore filler. It is light gray in color, even though the can says "neutral" and drys a light gray as well, but man does it fill grain pores like nobody's business. Great stuff.
