Changed Pickup Rings, Neck isn't laying right

So last night I switched back to my original rings, historic rings (I think they were historic, they were twice as thick) were looking a little thick to me. Now, my neck pickup is sort of leaning back toward the bridge. The bridge pickup looks even. Full disclosure: my springs look like they've seen better days.

Anyone else experience this when swapping rings and/or pickups?

If you want your pickups to be in parallel with the ring angle or any angle you like there is a little trick you can easily do, you have to bend one of the adjustable screws of the pickup! After doing so you will see that by turning the screw the pickup angle changes!

There is another trick that involves twisting the pickup legs, but this one of the screw is better

This may seem like a silly question, but are you sure that you have the neck pup ring facing in the correct direction? I can't tell since you didn't provide a side shot.

Have you tried pushing down on the top coil ?

I had this kind of problem once when I put covers on my pickups, and they alighed with the route rather than sitting flush with the top... but I don't know if that helps...

Re: Changed Pickup Rings, Neck isn't laying right

It was much worse until I loosened everything up, removed the ring with the pickup on it and pressed down. I am not sure why. The shorter end of the ring is toward the neck.
