Jimmy Page style wiring pots?

I'm planing to mod my Gibson Les Paul 57 Vos to Jimmy Page's wiring. Do I need to use long shaft or short shaft push/pull 500k pots??

Our Premium Audio Taper CTS Short Shaft Potentiometers have a 3/8″ Bushing height.

The long shaft pots have a 3/4″ Bushing height.
