Dr. Vintage wiring harness

For those who don't know, Dr. Vintage has had a special run of CTS pots made to his specs and and complete LP pot harnesses wired up. The pots are the cool part! Rick had CTS make them with a more useful taper, tight tolerances, plus added a clip ring to the shaft like an old Centralab for smoother operation and the shaft won't push through if you press on the knobs too hard. They also have the aluminum shafts like old Centralab pots. They are sold only as a pre wired kit right now, so all you have to do is solder the leads and ground wire, and you're off.

Re: Dr. Vintage wiring harness

Hi. Would like to give these a try. Do you know how long the introductory price of $99.99 is gonna stand for?

I was told 'till the end of the year.I have heard from others who have the kit,via a forum, and my impressions of it seem to be agreed upon.I don't recommend things that I don't have first hand experience with and dig.
I highly recommend checking the Dr. Vintage kit out.

Re: Dr. Vintage wiring harness

I just thought it was cool that someone finally went to the trouble to make a pot that is about as close as you are going to get to an old Centralab these days. I'm glad he went with the clip ring on the shaft, I know it cost more to do that.
