I always wondered if there existed such a thing as spruce top. Thanks for confirming! Also, your work is admirable, wish I had such skills.
I was in Croatia just a couple of weeks ago in fact, on the island Krk.

I liked it a lot, it was small and peaceful, just like I like it! I'm not much of a party animal, so that it was silent and that the only other people around were old timers didn't really bother me, haha. We'll hopefully go back there next summer though, so I'll get to see summertime as well.

I think you stopped being a "Hobby Luthier" long ago. Your work is very professional. Considering the hand tools you are using for these jobs, it's simply amazing. True old world European craftsmanship lives.
