Like the good captain tightpants said, "how did you do the neck binding?" !!!!! Very nice indeed! did you cut the frets back? did you have to pull the frets? Very nice!

Re: Extreme makeover
The Thruth, really great job!! Studio is an ugly guitar but now, your is awesome!
I was thinking of changing finish of my guitar to Vintage Sunburst but I think I'll have to remove veneer first because the stock one is a bit broken by "relicing" so that's not good idea to let the poly sink into dings etc did you paint the guitar by airbrush? where can I buy guitar lacquer? |

Re: Extreme makeover
Excellent work. Even more impressive considering you are doing the work with less than state of the art equipment. You're very talented.

After you remove some thick stuff, you can take some Sandpaper, but from 150 to 320. You need a lot patient. Quote:
i painted it with normal gun, here is the pic of me doing:![]() i buy lacquer at my locar store, you must find good nitro and learn how to use is, it musn't be thick, it must be thin every guitar you build or paint with nitro you must put in her case. |

impossible is nothing but it is not legal ![]() epiphones have some stuff that is not like on gibson, for example, binding is too thin, so i will be forced to replace that to, and it is not small job
