ABR 1 Posts vs Nashville Studs confused
Do the ABR 1 posts get drilled directly into the wood with no studs? I can't find any info on this. I know the Nashville Tune o has studs and assume the ABR doesn't. So if you have a Nashville style you really cant convert to the ABR 1 without those conversion posts?
Thanks, |

Re: ABR 1 Posts vs Nashville Studs confused
the abr has studs that go directly into the wood yes. And yes you can use nashville studs and an ABR bridge. Some ABR's need to have the holes widened and others just fit directly over the studs. I have tried 4 different brands, Gibson, allparts, stewmac and one from a tokai, and they all fit regular nashville posts.
