Slip-Stone Nuts

Anyone used or played on these

Slip-Stone Nuts
Our most "slippery" nut material. It's a new alternative for any guitar that's fitted with a traditional tremolo. Slip-Stone nuts are made of Delrin®, a synthetic self-lubricating material that helps the strings return to pitch smoothly, without binding in the slots. Great for players who bend strings a lot.

Re: Slip-Stone Nuts

Flick ,I've never seen Delrin in white , but I've used the regular charcoal color for all kinds of things incluing a nut, compound bow bushings, model train wheelset, yada yada. It's super tough, and very slick. Should sound good, and work real well.

Re: Slip-Stone Nuts

I machine white delrin at work all the time, it is actually called 'natural' color.
Delrin is softer than bone, though it does work. Just don't expect as long of a life from them as a bone nut. Personally I much prefer bone.

Re: Slip-Stone Nuts

RS[Radio Spares] sell White Delrin 8mm[5/16''] thick approx18'' x12'' for £24.
This would give you at least 175 nuts at around $0.30 each.

They also sell Nylon 66[natural] 5mm thick [3/16''] approx 18''x12'' for £28

Re: Slip-Stone Nuts

If there is a machine shop near you, they might have Delrin scraps big enough for nuts laying around you could get really cheap or maybe free.
