Bridge/tailpiece options, etc
for my rebuild, you can see here My guitar build 08'
my question is...is it worth it to get a Tonepros bridge and tailpiece or can i just get one from guitarfetish.com? What does it do for the sound and performance? harmony-central.com reviews were bad 7 out of 10. Also, is it worth it to change the nut? what kind? what does that do for sound, performance, and playability? |

They do, but you also want to lock the bridge. I don't see these on the CV guitars site, but Faber has that as well:

Re: Bridge/tailpiece options, etc
Just get a guitarfetish one. I've ordered a lot of stuff of there, including a guitar, and I'm very happy with it all

Re: Bridge/tailpiece options, etc
Definitely replace the nut. Sam Ash carries All Parts tusq nuts that for <$10 that fit Les Pauls and they're a huge upgrade over the stock plastic nuts. No string binding/improved tuning stability plus a bit more resonance and spank.
