Re: Refinish/ rebuild for my first Tele
Well after more delays than I care to think about this sucker is finally finished. The neck pickup is a custom wound Guitar Force, the bridge a SD little '59. The neck is huge. It started out .95" down the entire length before finish. Nut width is the usual 1.75" that I use on all my guitars. Thoughts from the first hour or so of playing it. I don't know if it's because the bigger neck gives me more leverage but the usual set of 12s that I use feel slinkier than on my other guitars. Overall it feels great, and sounds killer, doesn't sound like a tele at all.

Re: Refinish/ rebuild for my first Tele
I did consider a vintage style bridge but not really using the ashtray, I palm mute too much. I decided to go with the modern style as that's what I'm used to and had on hand. I may try one on another guitar I have to rebuild, give it more of a traditional blackguard feel but I haven't decided yet. And thanks for the compliment.
