Re: The New/Old Music

Dude, your voting options are a little one-sided.
Your either great, or you blow.

IMO- more like in the middle, OK, not too bad.
Maybe a little more enthusiasm while on stage could spark
a little more interest.

But, on the other hand, your in a band, on stage performing.
So, I say you guys are doing a good job.

Yea you are right, it is a little one sided. Thanks for the input though we do need to work on being a little more into it on stage. We have been practicing and stuff and its just getting to much like a job you know? I mean I'm almost getting tired of it if that is even comprehend-able. I used to love jammin out and stuff but I don't know...

Re: The New/Old Music

Dont let it lose it's luster bro!
Try kicking around something completely different
to spice things up a bit. I guess?
I'd hate for you to compare it to a "job" - I got one of those,
and would rather be in your shoes!

Re: The New/Old Music

man, what are you like 20 years old, and your geting jaded.
when i was in my 20's i was rockin' ,drinkin', playing in 2 bands, working full time and fucking every women i met.
come on, get your ass out there and put on the rock show.
do it now, because before you know it, you"ll be 50 and wonderin' who the fuck is looking back at you in the mirror.
like my old man said, "youth is wasted on the young",don't go proving him right !
you think them boys from skynyrd ever thought of giving up, sure they did, but they didn't ,and look what happened.
keep doing it, give it 100%, you'll be suprised at the results.
and if the guys your with ,don't want to do it right, find a new band.
your best days are for sure ahead of you.
now what ya doing reading this anyway, you should be praticing

Pretty good, I especially liked the freebird cover.

Re: The New/Old Music

Thanks guys for the encouragement, I guess I was just getting aggravated because we were getting away from what I want us to be. We had a talk about it and are workin out the kinks. In the meantime we are goin to write a couple of our own songs to get us to about 5 and see how it goes. When we perform them I will try to get some footage and put it on here. Later guys.

Re: The New/Old Music

A "quick and easy fix" I've found for the job problem is turning one of the rehearsals into a jam session. It encourages every one to loosen up a little bit. You can play one or two of the set songs if you feel like it, but the point is to have fun.
