The ultimate compliment..

We played a gig last night and we usually draw pretty good. 3 out of the 5 guys in our band are on the radio locally, and I am a former on air host as well so they talk about the band a lot on air so we do well usually with attendance.. Which is great cause playing to an empty room sucks.

Anyway, I had a guy come up to me in between songs and said "Hey man.. I really love your tone.. You seem to really have your rig dialed in and the tone is amazing!".

After saying thank you, I realized that the endless dollars I have spent on guitars and the tweaking and wiring kits, and tubes, and pickups, and pedals finally paid off...

That kind of appreciation makes lugging all that gear and playing out worthwhile.
