ZZ Top and EODM

I have had a good week.

On Wednesday night I saw ZZ Top at Wembley Arena. It was fantastic to see the Reverend rip it up. I last saw them in 1990 at Milton Keynes Bowl. I am a massive ZZ Top fan so I was in paradise.

Then, Thursday (last night) I saw the Eagles Of Death Metal at the Opera House in Bournemouth. Good time Rock 'n' Roll. Pretty basic musically but they put on a great show. Looks like they use open G for everything. I would recommend seeing them if you want a good night out. Jesse something is an excellent frontman. He really gets the crowd going. Probably one of the strangest looking bands out there.
Wouldn't look out of place in a Mexican jailhouse.

Re: ZZ Top and EODM

I saw ZZ top a couple of weeks ago too, and they were great! The first half of the show seemed to me a little stiff but then, as they launched into their hits, it got better and better, from Hendrix's Foxey Lady to the blistering guitar solo of La Grange.
Beer tastes much better when you're listening to ZZ Top .

Re: ZZ Top and EODM

i saw zz top at wolverhampton a week ago. really great show and you could get really close to the stage because of the smaller venue.

Re: ZZ Top and EODM

Damn, Guitarbob. I wanted to see them in Wolverhampton. It was just too far to go.
