Re: has anyone heard Them Crooked Vultures?

Yes I have, and I love the work Josh Homme does in QoTSA and the Desert Sessions. I can't wait for them to release some music.

Imagine the sheer amount of TALENT in that band. Something that seems to be missing from today's music. (COUGH Jonas Brothers COUGH!)

I'm fan of Jonesy and Grohl but Homme never did anything for me. I hope he won't influence things to be too dark and all QotSA sounding

I hope he does! The dude is awesome. His style, mixed with that of Grohl and JPJ, should be incredible. I wonder if Homme's friend, Chris Goss, will have anything to do with the recording.

Re: has anyone heard Them Crooked Vultures?

I'll probably buy the album. Watched some youtube videos of their live stuff and they seem to be pretty good.

Seriously does this sound any different than Queens of the Stone Age?

Album is being streamed on YouTube - themcrookedvultures's Channel. From the couple of songs I've heard so far, I like it.

Re: has anyone heard Them Crooked Vultures?

If its got Jones I'm gonna listen to it.. probably one of the only guys here who caught the tour with Diamanda Galas and actually liked it, caught his two solo tours and that acoustic tour he did... all good stuff
