Okay, I'll ask one.

What type of tropical storm was the nickname of Beatles' engineer(62-66) when he recorded a number one jazz hit in the 70's?

Re: The Official Rock Trivia Thread .....

Ok, Ok, sorry, I was at work. I actually didn't google that answer. I once worked with a Beatles fanatic who's last name was Smith. Guess what his nickname was.

Q: What famous actress fainted when Keith Moon's bass drum exploded on the Smothers Brothers show?

Damn Bobbo, Actually it was TOO Damn easy , sorry to say, I remember distinctly all the hubub around SRV, and Lets Dance, Something you MAY Not know, Bowie tried blacklisting and bad talkin SRV, because Stevie would NOT tour with Bowie for the record , It Took John Hammond Sr, Asking a favor froim Jackson Brown to use his studio to get SRV and his band their first release

The Lets Dance album actually broke out in the late 70s , one of my good guitar buddies sorta went on a Bowie like craze just before the Lets Dance , SRV thing happened

Re: The Official Rock Trivia Thread .....

The original Susie Q was by Dale Hawkins, mid '50s, I have it on a period compilation CD. But for the life of me I can't name the guitarist. No browsing, right?

Dale Hawkins might have played the intro, but he shurely was not 17 to join Jay's band. So, next, please...
