I'm not sure I'm following you here. I can totally understand if someone doesn't like their style but jeez where they incredible. And to the point enough too and not jam-bandy. Just my opinion I guess. Am I missing something or am I crazy? What was your view on Nirvana?

Ok, the Cowboys song is decent but the Revolution song is what I DON'T like about Pantera. It was just booooring.

Nirvana? Kurt Cobain had talent vocally but was just mediocre on guitar. The thing about Nirvana was all about expression. I was into Alice in Chains more at the time

Most overrated? For me it's a tie between U2 and the Chilli Peppers. Most underrated... Radiohead.

Me, I can't even have a conversation or talk much while I'm playing. My brain is one of those that works well in one direction only. Wasn't always that way, but I am now. SO I do appreciate those who can do so much while playing.

Nirvana all the way. And Grunge turns out to be my favorite genre. I love AiC, Soundgarden, STP, Pearl Jam, Mad Season, Sonic Youth, Tool... but Nirvana just has nothing to do with them.

Most lackluster decade in music, ever , the ninties. Boring..............Yawn............ Eighties was a bit more exciting, but way too many bands.

Hey what about Garth Brooks? He has tried, come close to or succeeded in selling more albums than the Beatles, but I cannot name one of his songs.

Country is fine and all, but I am lost when it comes to him.

You know, they had some high points, but they didn't last. The album with Desperado was worth a listen more then once. I think they were on to something, but it faded. I agree. Way too much credit given to Nirvana. The only good thing to come from Nirvana IMO is the spawning of the Foo Fighters. Love the Foos!

A lot of you guys were putting down the grunge era, and thats ok ... but what about pre-grunge? Nobody has mentioned any of the punk bands.

I really didnt get the Ramones at all.... and they are worshipped as one of the founders of the movement... Sex Pistols I understood, they looked pissed off.. but the Ramones????
