It always amazed me how Angus could produce some of the most amazing blues whilst jumping around like an idiot on acid. He retired his SG a while ago apparently as it had wood rot !!!!!!!!!!!!! Sweaty sod. The greats.

Yeah, I had that on VHS, one of the best concert films of all time. Wish I could have seen Bon, no disrespect to Brian.

Re: AC/DC - Bad Boy Boogie (Colchester, 28.10.1978
I have one thing I aways live by...... Never trust a fellow guitar player who doesn't like AC/DC or knows at least 3 AC/DC songs!
Not these songs in general... Just 3 is all it takes! But these are great!YouTube - AC/DC - It's A Long Way To The Top If you wanna rock'n'roll YouTube - AC/DC - Highway To Hell YouTube - AC/DC - T.N.T. Live with Bon Scott (1977) Last edited by FLICKOFLASH; 08-06-2007 at 06:42 PM. |

Re: AC/DC - Bad Boy Boogie (Colchester, 28.10.1978
T.N.T. was the very first song I ever learned to play! AC/DC stuff is still my favorite to play when I'm just goofing off. Some day I will be half as good of a rhythm player as Malcolm.

Re: angus young
The idea for the bands name and logo came from the back of same said sister's sewing machine, which she used to make his early stage costumes.

Re: angus young
Do yourself a favor and check out the early Bon Scott stuff. Pay real close attention to the rhythm tracks, too. As good as Angus is, Malcolm is probably the most underrated rhythm guitarist ever. Angus couldn't do what he doeswithout Mal.
As for album recomendations,Powerage is my personal favorite, some of the best rock tracks ever laid down IMO. Let There Be Rockis also an outstanding album. ALL the Bon Scott stuff is great, tho. Nobody can touch AC/DC for raw power. |
