Brand New Pantera song released today!!!
Track they cut for "Vulgar" but never made the album. You can hear the main riff was later re-used for "Use My Third Arm" from the F.B.D. album. The chorus break & lyrics remind me of some of the Cowboys-era songs. Bad ass jam though. Used to go see these guys every time they rolled thru town!

Love me some Pantera......can't believe it's been 20 years since VDOP. These guys kept metal alive through the 90s and grunge, and I miss them.

I F'n miss Pantera man. I love Down, Pepper and Kirk are great guitar players, but the tone and style Dimebag had gets my head banging every time. I feel like going and breaking something now. The lyric/verse "Half ass for most his life..." is from use my third arm also I believe.

Damn, guess they took that video down. Oh well, here's another:
yeah, to me Pantera pretty much ruled in the 90's. The 70's had sabbath, 80's had Metallica, in the 990's it was Pantera breaking new ground and leading the pack. FOREVER STRONGER THAN ALL!

Awesome, cheers for sharing! Now all I need is a Dean and I'll play like Dime (I assume uber talent comes in the box with them right?). Off to the loft to find that back issue of guitar world where he changes his name from diamond, memories...
