Jorma Kaukonen, one of the greats
Not much to do with Les Paul guitars, but still one of my favorites.
I'd love to go to one of the guitar conferences at the Fur Peace Ranch. The archetype of psychedelic lead guitar. Stinging fuzz guitar.

Great clips all of them.
I wish there were more of JK and Papa John Creech. They were awesome together. I think there is a YT vid from 85 called never happen no more so if someone could post it here that would be cool. |

Re: Jorma Kaukonen, one of the greats
Hot Tuna seems to come around here every couple of years.
I could never find time to see them. Soon. Soon. I do have a couple of JKs Cds. Very nice. I am glad he stayed clean he is a treasure of a musician. His Piedmont style seems to be under appreciated.

Re: Jorma Kaukonen, one of the greats
Another thread reminded me of this necro thread.
Jorma is one of America's great guitar players.

Re: Jorma Kaukonen, one of the greats
Jack Cassady and Jorma Kaukonen in one band...what a great thing that is!
Great band...Both musicians were big influences on my playing. mark
