Practice tapes.

Here's a portion of band practice. The last one I was in anyway. I couldn't get along with the "singer" so I quit.

Just some riffs I'm working on. I'll complete these tunes when I get a good band together again. I have about 6 hours of this stuff, but I'll only bore you with 10 min.

Just an R8, cable, and Marshall Vintage Modern 2466.

See link below...

Oh! Recorded with a ZOOM H4 in stereo.

Re: Practice tapes.

The solo in the first song was sick

Too bad you couldn't get along with the singer. I like his style. Kind of Brian Johnson-ish

Ripping guitar. You are very nice to have called him a "singer".

Re: Practice tapes.

It sucked, because I really got along with the drummer. Now I hear he's left too. I don't know if he quit or was let go.

Re: Practice tapes.

Are you guys as self-critical as I am?!?! Sometimes I'll play something that I think is just horrible, but I hear it back and think it's pretty good! Weird..

Yeah, that happens to me, but in a different way. I'll listen to one of my practice/jam recordings after I and it sounds cool. Then I'll listen to it another time without , and I say "That sucked, what the hell was I thinking! Everything sounds better after .

Another way it happens is at a gig. I'll come off thinking I sucked, but a couple of dudes will come up to me and give compliments. Obviously they're not musicians.
