Buckethead
First of all, i know there are a million threads about this guy, but i'm about to admit something very stupid about myself. I had never actually listened to anything Buckethead recorded before tonight! I'm 28 years old, been playing guitar for 15 of those years. I love all kinds of music, especially guitar driven rock and i really enjoy instrumental guitar songs. I dont know how its possible, but i've never actually heard this guy before! I've heard of him, but i always thought it was a joke or something. I tend to avoid gimmicky shit, and a dude with a effin KFC bucket on his head always sounded pretty stupid so i never bothered to see what he was all about. I guess what i'm rambling on about is, holy crap i now have this incredible wealth of amazing music from this artist who is completely new to me!

Re: Buckethead
When you have finished the Buckethead marathon session.....
seek out Frank Zappa's back catalogue of mind blowing guitar. See yah a coupla years down the line.

Re: Buckethead
Soothsayer was the song that really got me into Bucket a while back. It's such a fantastic song. You can hear so much emotion in the playing.

Re: Buckethead
You could do a lot worse than listen to Buckethead.
