Right on. I still need to try it.

Ya, that's awesome...about 10 seconds and about to break into feedback every second. I'd much rather listen to that than a million notes all over the neck and some sweep picking.

So I tried it. It sucked. I believe the point of it was that every song ended on and started on the same note and that the track numbers equaled 13. I'm not a fan of a lot of the latter songs on the disc, and putting them in the middle of all the other songs made me want to stop listening to it.

Re: TOOL Appreciation Thread

Disposition, Reflection, and Triad go perfectly one after the other...were even played that way on tour. Parabol and Parablola, Eon and The Patient...also go hand in hand just the way they are arranged on the disc. Can't see how mixing this album up would make it flow better.

The final days of paul d'amour. Justin played with them on a few songs earlier in this gig and paul wasn't happy about it.

Re: TOOL Appreciation Thread

I just listened to it. Well I skipped to the beginnings and ends after reordering. It did nothing for me. Too much silence at the end of songs to mix well. I was expecting seamless transitions.

I agree wit SB, "it sucks".

I also agree with J. It's setup to flow already.

All in all it was GREAT to hear Parabol and Parabola play next each other. I've been on shuffle tooooo long.

I didn't think it sucked, but I also didn't think was special in anyway.

I agree, I think the album is fine as it's pressed.

Yeah, "sucks" is strong. Not special is a better way to describe it.
