Just some Adam Jones inspired Noodles. This technique I've been working on forever. Lifted from the technique Adam uses in Wings 1 & 2. It's 3 notes picked on two consecutive strings...two down and one up in quick order.

I always wondered how they got that long sustain or whatever it is at the beginning of lost keys....?

That part is actually the Bass. There's some live footage of that song and it's clearly Justin's part. I never knew that before seeing some live footage either.

Interesting tone Adam has here...even though there's the Blueface, the backup Silverface, and the Marshall, it sounds so "vintage tube".

That clip isn't the best, but there is definitely a "vintage" tone with Adam's live tone. It's still ringing in my head (thankfully!!!). The thing that really stood out to me is his sound is everything. It's vintage, it's modern, it's dark, it's bright. Remarkable! His live tone cuts right though you. Yet it's still dark, crunchy and thick. It has to be the multiple amps (3d effect).

I'm slowly inching towards a multi amp rig. I have the heads. Just not the cabs. I can't wait to dial them in together and see what happens.
