Re: "Screwless" pickguards

i wish this was the standard pick guard. i hate the fact that my new classic came with a pick guard on it and its not an option to get it w/o it on. now if i want to take it off i have screw holes.

Re: "Screwless" pickguards

The problem with the Epis is that it came with the PG in, so now I have screw holes anyhow in the guitar But I'll be sure to get a clear PG for my les paul if I get one without a PG already in it! Cool stuff there!

An incredibly nice product. I have a clear one on my ebony Lester and the creme one is on its way for my 'burst. You the man Bobby.

*The packaging is really professional too and as already noted, Bobby is a very nice guy to deal with.

Re: "Screwless" pickguards

Hi, I'm new to the forum and to owning a Les Paul. I just bought my first decent guitar, which has a dark natural finish I think looks really great. I think it would look better without the pickguard but I'm worried that the finish wouldn't hold up. So I thought a clear pickguard would be nice but I wasn't sure if such a thing existed. I found an official Gibson clear pickguard on eBay which is nice but doesn't compare to these Screwless guards! The back-painting looks great, too, though I'd still want a clear one.

Can you please tell me if you have one that fits an Epiphone Les Paul Studio? Also, how much it would cost to buy one in Canada?
Thanks so much. (They look amazing!)

Bobby Lee, you are a GOD. What an absolute brilliant idea, be mindful that Gibson will take this from you is it Patented?

These are great. I'm not much of a pickguard person but I'd definately get one of these if I ever decided to ad one to my LP.

Re: "Screwless" pickguards

Just been reading through this thread, because i was looking for some alternatives to pickguards and this is the best idea i have ever seen!
Clear pickguards... PURE GENIUS!
I was also wondering, how much would a clear guard for an Epi Standard cost?

Re: "Screwless" pickguards

I was in the process of placing the pickguard on my new LP Standard 2008, when I had the idea of checking in the forums if there was a smarter alternative to drilling holes in that fantastic flamed body.... luckily I found this thread...
Bobby this the greatest idea since sliced bread!
Will try to find it locally, if not I'll sure email you to buy one directly.

Again bravo! You sure rock!

I am the kinda guy who loves a pickguard on a les paul and thinks that they're empty without one. still, I have many friends and know many people who r hesitant to drill into theirs. This is a great idea for people like that and would love to get one to try out. do you ship all over the US?
