Yours had the extra long lead wire for left handed guitar. I remember seeing it. Set 1 in Double Blacks. Right? edited. I found out for you.

Yours are the 67 Greens not in the picture Steve. I think Greg is getting all the request out later today. His shop don't open until 11 am east coast time. It's 5:15 am here west coast. I am at my shop but Greg lives the Rock n Roll lifestyle.

Re: BCR Music (BCRGreg) & WB Pickups introduces a VERY Limited "67 Green" Pickups

Hi to all at WB Pickups, BCR Music and of course, the My Les Paul forum.

I have been too keen on these Peter Green style pickups ever since I first heard about you guys making them. I have a couple of questions, if you guys don't mind answering (:

First of all, i'm over here in Australia. As i'm worried that I may not be able to call up Greg (due to time differences), would it be best to just hit him with an email regarding any queries, such as shipping costs, availability and all that stuff? I'm unsure as to whether Greg is still swamped with emails heh.

Also, i'm just curious as to whether there are any sound clips of these pups demonstrating some of those sweet Peter Green tones, for example songs with the Mac and stuff. The clips already available (that i've seen) are great, but I guess i'm looking for ones that are, I suppose, showing more of that Greeny vibe. Ack, I hope i'm making sence.

Any sort of answers to my questions would be much appreciated (:

Keep up the awesome pickup builds WB! I think you guys are fantastic, i'm too eager to one day own a set of your pups.

Thanks for your time guys, keep it cool

I have a set of '67 Greens on the way to Australia (Canberra) right now. I would recommend that you ring Greg directly. Look at the store opening hours on the BCR Music site and pick a time to call. From memory I called them at around 7AM local time which was late afternoon in Greg's timezone.

To the best of my knowledge, I've not heard any clips of early Fleetwood Mac or the like. You can hear the tones are in there, though, if you listen to the soundclips. Also, consider this, if these pups sound this good over the computer, just imagine what they're going to sound like in your guitar!

Cheers cobber!

Re: BCR Music (BCRGreg) & WB Pickups introduces a VERY Limited "67 Green" Pickups

It's funny how I hoodwinked Decoy into using my GregWinds!!!!! I just looked at this post and thought...."SHIT!, Now he won't be able to brag about the Greens!"

Ah, well.

There's been a lot of talk about "true" Peter Green tone, and I can say that these have it.

I'll buy them back if you don't agree.

Period.

The 6707 Greens Rock...period.

My R9 is an absolute monster with those pups in it. I played it today at church, and it pretty much played it self. I used all 3 pickup positions, and the tones are incredible!

I need to do some new clips...we'll have to see if I can get something done this week.
