Bartlett Woodworking and Magnus Melkersson are pleased to announce a new partnership to deliver the finest possible precision CNC carved eastern maple guitar tops.

These Tops are based on a late 50's style carved top and are accurate down to the finest detail - profile, contour, thickness, and even the regions the maple is harvested is the same as used in the late 50's. Careful kiln drying and hide glued center seam finish off the details of a perfect top.

These tops are each truly one of a kind and no detail has been overlooked.

EMCT are opening the guitar building process up to the masses, offering custom carving of your own wood, all the way up to offering templates for use on your duplicator for repeated use.

This forum is where it all started, and we're happy to be contributing members to the place we spend our free time.

We've managed to negotiate some cost cutting solutions for lumber, and milling, and are now able to offer our tops at a reduced price.
As of right now AAAAA carved tops are a full $135.00 less than yesterday!

What type mahogany for the 'complete bodies' ? Is it Honduran ??

Also...do you provide service to for installing neck .... or installing neck+fretboard ?

It's Honduran mahogany. One piece body and necks.

We have them in now. We're trying to get time to get the photos taken and on the website, but they are Brazilian rosewood, fretted bound and inlayed with historic makeovers celluloid inlays. We offer them aged with shrunken discoloured inlays or NOS.

Fretboards are $550 each.
