We're back from the Spartanburg Guitar show, alive, well and with a van- full of goodies. Surprisingly, we only found one Les Paul and it is a gorgeous reissue black Custom. But, we will be posting some pictures of a few rare and desirable axes in the coming days- after they receive the standard 'Elk detailing treatment and hopefully, your patience will be rewarded!

We somehow made it back from the Dallas Show in one piece, beat but with a van full of new stuff. We picked up three 'Pauls, a Brazil Rossy SG, some off the wall stuff and a Marshall JTM 45 offset that is still sealed in the box. I wonder how many of these are left unopened? Anyhoo, we'll get to scrubbin' and shootin' and getting these things listed on the 'Elk site, Of course, we'll get some pix here as well.

Alright Guys and Gals,

Back from the Philly show and as always, it was great to see everyone from the forum. We have about 50 guitars to get through ( just bought another small collection out of Texas) and then it's off to Charlotte at the end of August. Off to work- got to earn my keep!

Hey All,
This weekend is the Charlotte Guitar Show and we're looking forward to seeing all our Southeastern brothers and sisters there. It's always a good time and if anything, sure beats sitting at home, right?

Just bough part of a large collection this past weekend featuring several Custom Shop Fenders and 7 Les Pauls. Keep your eyes peeled for even more cool and new goodies coming out of Elkland, where it's always sunny and we don't care if it's too loud for our neighbors...

We've got 8 new Les Pauls coming up in the next week and then it's time to get ready for the Arlington show. Everybody in Texas is going to be there, right?

What are the dates for the Arlington show? And what are the 8 LPs?

The Arlington Dates are 10/15 and 10/16. I'm working on the 'Paul pictures as we speak and listed one of them last night- the '96 Silver Sparkle Standard. All kinds of funky stuff and some reissues too.

Wow! The Arlington show was both a blast and a beat-down. Six days on the road, but worth every minute. We'll be doing a show report on in the Elk Diaries over on our site and I have to sling out a special "Hell Yeah" to Matt and Big Dave from Martin Six String and "El Grande Presidente" Bob from Davenport Customs for making those late nights on the back deck of the hotel nothing short of a friggin' blast. Yessir, Folks, it is possible to drink a Lemon Drop with your head tilted 90 degrees to the left and we even hand our very own, personal goatee braider....

Hahaha, we had a blast with you, Lee and Bob. The Brits we met were off the hook too, as well as, Robert Marcello. We definitely owned the patio for the weekend!

Next stop....Philly in 3 weeks!

We made it back alive, but beat from the Fall Philly show and dragged almost 30 guitars back with us. You all know the routine: scrub the cases, detail the guitars and break out the camera! We'll probably be listing for the rest of the year, so keep your eyes peeled for much new cool things from them Elk boys...!

I think he's said that for about three years running now and I remember when and where he bought it. The bass has a neck that's about as mucked up as you can get- oh he forgot to tell us about that, didn't he?
