Been to the HOG many a time over the last 31 years. Great place with a lot of history. Use to skip school my senior year and drive 2 hours just to go to the HOG and check out guitars and hang out. Gas was $.58 a gallon then too

Re: House of Guitars *Sponsor*
I've been buying from the HOG since 1977, many new lefty Les Pauls since then, countless amp, and most recently, a new lefty ES-335 last June, and a beautiful pair of original late 50s' PAFs. Bruce and Curt are great guys to deal with. I wish I lived at the House of Guitars!

I love the place. Welcome House of Guitars!
Due to space constraints, it would probably take 50 pictures from different angles, to even begin to show all the equipment they have. ![]() ![]() Just this cabinet has more high-end guitars than all of the chain-stores in NY, combined:

Re: House of Guitars *Sponsor*
Try to imagine.... the rectangular disply case in the second pic.... there are about 10 of them, and they are full on both sides and on top. That's just guitars.
They have some amps, as well..... (this represnts maybe 5% of the amps there) ![]() Here's some more: ![]() They have a monster selections of drums and accessories as well. AND..... the people I have run into there over the years... they LIVE this stuff. You won't find some dude who just wanted a job in retail working there. You'll find helpful PEOPLE. If you LOVE guitars, the place is worth a visit from whereever you are. (I am not affiliated. I've only gotten out there maybe 15 times in my life. It's always good). |

Re: House of Guitars *Sponsor*
HoG, you guys need to get the "sponsor" links to your website fixed.
Whenever a HoG banner come up (like the one at the top of this thread), it is a link to: House of Guitars - Welcome That page redirects to mailto:sales@houseofguitars.com So... anyone who clicks on you banners, it tries to open the person's e-mail program. They never get through to your site, to find more info, or contact info. |

Re: House of Guitars *Sponsor*
Hey Kurt & the HOG, it's Matt! I hate to echo a point made 20+ times but I can NOT stress enough how much I love this store. I've been shopping at the store "down the street" my whole life. Been playing for 15 years and I will never stop going there.
I live in Boston now and still go out of my way to shop at the GREAT House of Guitars. Keep up the cool guys! PS: I'm in town and will probably be there tomorrow. |

Re: House of Guitars *Sponsor*
It left HOG on Thursday afternoon, arrived with me at 8:00 a.m. this morning! The only down side was that the guitar, inside its Gibson Custom case, was boxed up in a bloody Banjocaster box!
![]() And you know how I love Leo's Banjocasters - NOT!!! ![]() All joking aside, great service from this shop, and hassle free with a transatlantic order and shipment. Recommended, folks, highly recommended! ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll be gigging this for the first time with a band I'm depping for this coming Saturday.
