TOKAI Premium Series LS200 5A: For sale.

This is a "Special order" LS200 5A model from 2009.
Tokai made a few of these with 5A maple flame tops in 2009, I got this one from them BRAND NEW in November 2010.
It's never been owned by anyone, I've maybe played it for an hour or two, rest of the time it's been in it's case.

Condition is as close to "mint" as is possible.

$1890.00 including shipping by EMS 4 day door to door courier service to the USA.

CrazyD beautiful Tokai. I don't think the world is bankrupt just close. Just kidding, I'm trying to sell a 3 week old Heritage 150 taking a $600 loss and getting no bites. Try putting this one in the MIJ Classifieds section too. They are always looking and some great buyers there.

You might want to post some of the specs - from size and contrast, I can't make out the back of the neck hanger card.

swampblues - thanks for the advice, I didn't even know there was a MIJ Classifieds.

Mick - the Warranty card just shows the model number, the rest is all in Japanese.
The specs are the same as an LS160...except of course the special 5A flame top on these particular models.

I'm located in South Africa...I'm the Tokai distributor in South Africa.
No dimple on the headstock.
Yes, comes with the case & Tokai warranty card.

Vintage ls 80's and 100's, no idea what wood grade they are, but the insignificant differences (if there are any) does not justify the price point these newer Tokai's have.

If you have a steady supply of LS-100s and 80s at $900 US, that would be the way to go for sure. Certainly not priced like that in Japan on the used market. $1200 for a nice LS-80 if you a really lucky.

I'm searching Craigslist in the major midwestern US cities..This particular one is significantly higher, but a very rare and special Burny..

but the buzz is growing for fine guitars like the ones we are talking about. The stigma of the MIJ axe in the US is rapidly dissappearing..
