Hey very nice job on both videos demonstrating how the Box works. Excellent playing bro, no need to apologize bro, nice touch. With the Tele I think you would really like the 100K CRL Pot. It gives it a bit of compression right off even with out the caps blended. I have to say you got a really nice variety of Clean and dirty sounds on your gear with it. I really appreciate you taking time out to make those videos

Here is a peak at #003 & #004 if you want to check them out. I am working on the wiring tonight.

#003 has a 5 way Rotary Switch that will allow you to choose from 4-5 capacitors instead of just two. Has Master Tone and True Bypass, 1/4" mono connections. I can't say to much about #004 cause I am still in the R&D stages

Thanks bro, I just spent some time testing out Box #003 with the 5 way rotary and it passed all it's testing. It really does wonders for my solid stated Marshall, takes a lot of the harsh bite out and thickens things up a lot.

Really cool how the 5 different caps respond at different settings. Seems like the .047 is almost a bit of a boost at some settings when I had distortion on? And the .10 Bee nailed a great woman tone on my bridge pu with the Tone pot dialed back just a tad from full on. But on my neck pu, the .022 HYREL dialed it on a little better on the neck pick up of my Studio LP. Lot's of sweet upper mid Tones from the .033 and .022

how would these boxes work with my guitars if I already have a cap pot upgrade done on them?

These Boxes work great if you already have upgraded your controls, it just gives you a lot more versatility for dialing things in. Also takes a lot of the harsh bite out of solid state amps.

You can also pre-set the Box for desired Tone then flip the switch to "Mojo-On" when you need it and flip it to "Bypass" when you want your original signal back leaving your guitar controls the same.

I have been playing with this 5 way rotary equipped box and it has an endless Tonal palette from which to choose Tones.

Sorry it's like a 9 hour drive bro, it would be really fun to have you just pop into the shop for a jam or to work on something

Sounds like a plan bro, if it's meant to be it will work out. Also if you want to put part down for a couple of days I will hold it for you until you come up with the rest, I know how that goes

Yeah actually that's a good idea bro, I have a stomp box version of this rig planned just haven't built any yet. These Tone Boxes are wide open to all kinds of remote switches, Mods and add on's down the road. Thanks for your input

Re: Jonesyblues Custom Shop & ToneMojo.com

Oh Bro.,
I could see this being engineered to the max...several different tones?...3-4 way switching, remote, from orig amp and guitar to the 3 Mojotones and back to original amp and guitar...Kinda like from bypass to 3-4 tonebox tones and back to bypass...Oh what I could do with one of those...and what a solid state amp player could do...Holy Shizzle, Batman....I wanna be your Marketing Rep. Mr. Jonesy!
Amplifier modeling units would be a thing of the past...good solid state amp w/ tube emulator(or a 12ax7&6v6 tiny tube preamp) and a ToneMojo Tone Box...What else do ya need...?
