However, it has got to be incredibly confusing and nerve wracking at times to be involved in what you called a polyamorous relationship! Honestly, as rewarding and fullfilling as my relationship with my lady is, sometimes it just flat weras me out, how in the hell do you handle more than just one?

By the way, congrats on the VIP status!
well i don't see why it would be nerve wracking nerve wracking is being in a monogamous relationship and cheating on your partner with another woman/man. you have to make up stories as to where you were. you can't let the other woman have your home phone in case she decides she wants to break you up. you have to remember the lies you told and keep them all straight in your head. it's really just a big mess and it means you have few qualms about lying and cheating. not my cup of tea.

but when you can be honest with everyone involved, it's not that hard. you love them all how you can love them, when you can love them, for as long as you can love them. but you have to have your priorities straight. my needs come first. after that Kim's needs. then Milady's needs. while i'm with one or the other they are my whole focus. their needs and desires always come first as long as they don't conflict with my basic needs. but i figure with all i want to do in life, about two or three significant others is about all i can handle. i just don't have the time to devote to any more loves than that.

Re: NFW*ASK NICOLE: *(mature content)

I can understand that, but I'm not talking about cheating and covering it up. I can't speak for another soul in the world, but I know for a fact I've never cheated in my whole life, even the thought of it is abhorrent to me. Because I know at the end of the day I couldn't live with myself if I did. I waited 34 years to find her, I will not screw that up for a fling. That's just stupid. I made a commitment to her and her alone. I'll never have to hide it, I'd never do it, end of story.

I am honest with her, and I trust that she's honest with me, but we are 2 different people, and we don't always see eye to eye, and that is the stress to which I'm referring. No matter how good any relationship is, there are ups and downs, good times and bad, just seems to me it would and could be that much more chaotic the more people there are in the mix. Of course, I realize that the opportunity is there for more good times, too, right?

All I'm saying is that I don't have the energy for any more than ONE significant other, as much as I love her, and she is my whole world. I can't imagine more than that! Of course, she's all I need. I am the luckiest guy in the world, I found the love of my life, and how many of us get to say that, ever?

yes i suppose there can be more downs than in a monogamous situation. i have two women and a man to care about. each of those women have opinions, issues, and situations. i let them have their opinions and they let me have mine. i try not to argue with them on anything that doesn't really matter. with Milady i don't argue with Her at all, it's pretty much what She says goes.

you could say there is more joy involved. i get to grow in different directions i get to intimately know more people. i get to express my selfhood in different ways. and i am loved in different ways by different people and i love different people in different ways.

That's cool, I can get that. Not my thing, but that's what great about being an individual, huh? Not everybody has to be the same.

Nice talking with you, but I'm off to bed, gotta get up and go to work at 5:00. Besides, my pretty lady is already in bed asleep, and I kinda like snugglin' up to her! More differences right there, I'm a night owl, she's goes to sleep when the sun goes down! Good night!

aside from top 40 rock radio, i try to listen to stuff i've never heard. although to be honest i don't like a lot of new stuff. i guess i'm really picky about what i like. i've mostly been working on my own tunes. i used to write a tune a year but now i'm putting them out a tune a month. i'm negotiating with a new director on making a video for what i consider to be my best song. he say's he'll do it favour for favour as long as he can get his shit together whatever that means in his situation

so i spend my time listening to my own stuff trying to figure out ways of making it better, or ways of mixing it better.

my current favourite song to play is 200 lashes by me

You said you were a submissive...do I sense some role-playing games between you and your Milady?

we W/we haven't exactly gotten started yet. W/we're still in the get to knkow each other and understand what makes the other tick phase. and when W/we play i suppose there will be some role playing, but for U/us it's not a game. until either of U/us chooses not to be in the relationship anymore, She will say, and i will obey.

there are limits to that of course. my life with Kim comes first. my own needs as a woman and as a sub need to be looked after. but She is experienced at this so i'm sure everything will be well.

i find the protocol fascinating as well. Dominants intimidate the shit out of me but attract me like a moth to flame. (i'm going to use that in a song at some point if i haven't already lol)

here's the funny thing. the motto for everyone i know in the lifestyle is "safe, sane, and consensual." in order to achieve that, the submissive always has a safeword. W/we use red, yellow, green. green for go, yellow for caution, and red for stop now. so in the end because of the safewords the submissive has the final authority. so in a way the sub has the power. that screwed me up at first. of course who wants to use it? i've only said red once in my time of playing. i'd rather bear more than i can take than stop the scene lol.

Fascinating. I myself am attracted to strong, aggressive women, so I can understand your point of view. I've never tried the S/M thing, although I did go with some friends to the Power Exchange (San Francisco) and witness it close up. (We went during a bachelor party...wow)

I think it would be neat to sit down over a cup of coffee and rap with ya. I learn the most from people that are the most different than myself. Not that that you are all that different.

Cheers!

Listening to Gov't Mule, the new Blue Floyd 2 CD set, and Johnny Winter's newest "from the vault" live disc.

I usually just mess around while practicing, or I'll attempt to learn something difficult just to improve/keep my playing up.

How would you classify your writing style, as say a 60s 70s type style or newer type stuff. What do you look for in the feel of a tune?

i have been influenced by classic rock a lot. by 60', - 90's. but i try to have my own style. i try to mix a little new with a little old, and come up with my own twisted take on rock/hard rock/goth. i'm about to send off a bunch of songs to protect them tomorrow. i'm hoping i'll be able to post one or two very soon. some people like my old stuff but this is waaaay beyond that stuff. that stuff is beginner writing.

LOL Nicole alot of the best stuff ever written was what you called beginner writing............Its when we try and complicate things later is when it all seems to go bad. Ive started writing again myself and I'm finding my old school ways so to speak were when I was at my best. Too many things/toys/gadgets/tricks nowadays to bring the best out of songwriters.

lol

well if you want to listen to my beginner writing click on my link and try out Dance. that's old enough to be beginner, but new enough to be decent
