flicks shock and awe campaign.....

I was a member of the official gibson forum awhile back, mabey 1 year and a half ago. I was happy to be there, it took awhile to actually get in, but once in, it was worth the time spent there looking around. (or so I thought) Then one day this guy with the screen name FLICKOFLASH showed up and started promoting the MLP forum, everyday he was there over and over again, trying to recruit ppl over. Almost every single thread, there he was Sgt.Flick recruiting soldiers for the new army. I was like who is this guy, why dosnt he just go the F**K away! Then I decided to take a look at the site he was recruiting for, wow! it was like night and day, lots of pretty colors and tons of pics of my favorite thing(besides scantly clad bi-sexual super models) Les Pauls! It was the best thing I ever did. I'm glad flick did come over and be a MLP pest. I'm sure plenty of others came over to. Does anyone else remember the flickoflash shock and awe campaign of '06 ?

I was never a member there, but I left some other site to be here. For similar reasons.

Best guitar related forum on the net!

I was a member of the Gibson forum and at some point (summer 2007?) there was SOMEONE who was talking up MLP quite a bit. -And FLICK, your saying it was not you?

So, who is responsible for encouraging everyone to come on over to the MLP forum?

Jason (Midnight) got a hell of a lot of people, I told a few people , and then there was everyone else who was a member of both forums.

I'm still a member at the LPF. I think my image is pretty much shot over there, especially after I called out the two NY assclowns, Pete & Repeat, for the bullshit they pulled on Will. I could care less. Some of the opinions over there about tone are just outright wierd. Half of the people over there with "expert" tone opinions couldn't play their way out of a wet paper bag.
