It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen of the mlp..... It would be my honour to introduce you to our new daughter. Lily Elizabeth Weaver was born at 11:30pm Irish time. she weighed in at a respectable 9lbs 2oz. She was a stubborn little one and needed a little coaxing to show herself, hence the little mark on her face, which will disappear by tomorrow. Mother and baby are doing well, and the 3 of us would like to say a heartfelt thank you for all of your thoughts and wishes. Of course, as soon as she is home, she will be posed for a photo with a les paul, and prompty posted here.

SHES BEAUTIFUL AND WIDE AWAKE!  yea thats a rough trip through that little space!! mine came out with a pointy head but in a day she was normal again

yeah steal, i know the pointy head thing...she had a little one as well, but she seems fine now. plus she was kinda purple and slimey....a litle scary at first. until they get a little cleaned up, they kinda look like a roswell alien!

thank you thank you thank you. we are so excited here! it was very hard for me to leave the hospital and come home for the night. luckilly we live less than a mile from the hospital, so i can be there first thing in the morning!

this is our first child, and probably our only. we got a late start on the kid front. that just means she will be the only lp slinging girl in the neighborhood, making all of the boys jealous of her cool guitar gear.

And coincidentally, my baby daughter celebrated her 9th birthday today. Boy, do they grow up fast! Similar to Flick's post, I'll just add that having a child truly makes you more fully understand the meaning of life, and helps re-define the meaning...and intensity...of love. You're a lucky man! Congrats, enjoy her as much as you can. They grow like weeds and before you know it, boys will be calling the house. The hardest thing as a parent, that I ever had to do was watch my daughter (who was my first born) leave the house to live her life. My son, when he went to serve in Iraq. And just when I thought, it was safe to leave my guitars out on the stands. They both brought me grandchildren.  I have cave drawings on my walls again.
