Congratulations to Sole Genúa from Chile for making Les Paul Girl of the Week #12!

Tell us about your musical experience

I started playing guitar when I was 12 years old. Since then I can´t stop playing and performing! It´s been a blast all this years , and I hope to continue playing the rest of my life!

I recorded my first album in 1999, after that I wrote some instrumental songs. In 2003 I joined Human Factor, a Heavy Metal band from Chile (my country), I love to write and perform live with my band mates. So far we have two albums, and right now we´re looking for a label to release our last album called Behind the Dark. (here you can check some tunes! : www.myspace.com/humanfactorband )

We also had the chance to play with major acts like Angra (Brazil) & After Forever (Holland), and a couple of festivals as headliners.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

A little bit of different stuff, mostly rock & metal!

What do you love most about your Les Paul?

I have 2 Gibson Les Paul. What I like the most of this guitars is that these are very comfortable to play and they have a very personal sound. You can tell when someone is playing a Les Paul! (Zakk Wylde, Gary Moore, Slash, etc).

Funniest thing that happened to you on the road, stage or backstage?

Hahaha, I don´t remember, it is always a very special moment when you are on stage.

Where do you see yourself a few years from now?

I see myself touring and recording albums!!!!! lml
