Ran out of 'tape' ?? Jebus man, what era are you living in? you can record about 1.5 hours of high quality stereo wav format on a gig of disc space

Oh and can't you convert it to mp3 and reduce the size. Grandad Dorset....

In another 12 minutes I'll get to listen to it!

I recorded it on an old Tascam 644 porta studio, but forgot to rewind enough tape. It's all very archaic like me, but it sort of works..

Omg Phil!! I choked on my coffee!!

You really should be in comedy, that was bloody hilarious!

Sounds effects, music mix, the accents of the MLP members, Brilliant!
Love Drude's accent, had me in hysterics. Dennis will be pleased you included him

Well done Phil, looking forward to part 2.

It's all a bit of an ad-lib, but as I'm on holiday I have time on my hands. As long as it looks like I have done something useful in the house before the wife comes home.

Oh don't worry I have you yet to come..
Aunty Lazy too.. St Bede.. And lots more as the ideas of each character comes into my warped and twisted mind. Ideas just pop into my head at the weirdest moments, so I log them for future use.
The recording was a bit slap hazzard. Running from the Tascam across the room to the computer and back again etc. Watching me trying to do it is probably funnier than the actual recording. It's not easy because there are four tracks being used and you have to keep remembering when to push up and pull down the faders.

..Wait till you hear some of the others I have in mind. I'm saving Cookie for a video I have sketched out.

Yeah I know Guido sounded more like a Mexican than a south American, but I got a few of the inflections right.

The point is.. Will Drudeboy find the missing note.. One octave above soprano high C?

There are always crowds at Stonehenge. Doesn't mean they're all f*ckin' Druids...

Just as long as the guitar plays,
It'll steal your heart away,
Steal your heart away...

D Major is a key, not a pitch.

Apparently that doesn't matter since he seems to think he's going to include me and he still hasn't heard my voice.

It may be more fun to hear what Uncle Phil thinks I sound like before he really does hear my voice.

Sound effects will speak volumes

Re: Shire Radio ( Tales of the high C part 1 )

Of course the difficult thing is that you have to know a bit about the persons personality and character before you can tackle something like that. The voice only really adds to the silliness and doesn't need to be that accurate. It only appears to be accurate when you put the character, the voice and the sound effects together.
With someone like Guido it's difficult to try and get his accent, so you just take him coming from south America. Add the sounds of the jungle, talk like a Bolivian drug baron ( even though he's from Brazil ) and leave the rest to the imagination.

Bloody hilarious Phil!
Great storyline too! If Drude ever finds that missing note I'm sure he'll break a few beer glasses when he sings it!

KP Willetts is on the hit list too, as are a few of our Jock friends like our good friend Brian above..
I'm logging down certain people for some ideas.
