Re: Reminder: The 2010 UK international Meet

If only I didn't live on the other side of the Blue Marble Harmony, and had a passport , I'd love to meet up with the MLP Europa Clan. I'm sure you buggers are gonna have an absolute blast.

Rick.

Well Muck Fe..start saving, get a passport in next several months and maybe you could make it for next years one!

Don't worry, it will be captured on video and maybe even on live streaming , so you will get to some some us nutters in action

Good to know Harmony, can't wait to see it.

Yeah, I'll start saving my shekels now for next year.

Rick.

Re: Reminder: The 2010 MLP UK international Meet

This event, without doubt, will become a Legend in the Life and Times of MLP forum

People will actually find out I am a mild mannered and very likeable nice bloke.

We will hear JV organising things in true Civil Service fashion (eh! eh! eh! eh! clam down! calm down!)

We will hear the 'Cookie Laugh' for real, (a cross betwen 'Mutley' and a Jewish London cabbie)

Snaredrum will do a 20 minute drum solo using his NHS crutches

Phil will get mistaken for Dudley Moore until he is found drinking Elder Flower Happy Hippy Mineral Water

Stow will get arrested for impersonating a dead person (Kossoff)

Oh and JV will also fall in love with The Fender Guitar and give up whole tone bends forever.....

Re: *Reminder*: The 2010 MLP UK International Meet

aw I dunno what to play. Who will sing if I do play?

shall I do something corny and cheesy?

I sort of though about Cinnamon Girl, but need a singer. also Brown Sugar rhythm guitar in Keef tuning, again need singer.

Maybe I could play something other attendees choose? Any suggestions? I'll play owt for a laff. Within reason.

I love Cinnamon Girl so i think you should do it, I'll join in with you on guitar and vocals? But we will have to do the rust never sleeps version!

Cool! you're on, of course the 'Rust' version! the studio one is toooo slow. I can do some BV's. I play it dropping both e's to d.

Phil, put it on the list.

I'll do the other guitar in Brown Sugar (I started playing it when it first came out, and 'Splinter' did it immediately), and I'll sing it as well. I'd have a bash at singing Honky Tonk Women also. It's a deal, matey.

There are always crowds at Stonehenge. Doesn't mean they're all f*ckin' Druids...

Just as long as the guitar plays,
It'll steal your heart away,
Steal your heart away...

D Major is a key, not a pitch.

What a jumble of noise that was! Plink, plink, quack quack's finest few seconds! My Lesters through the F-50 will devour that weedy, girly, sound!

You just don't appreciate good sound from a guitar

Everyone should own a strat or tele. If you don't or haven't, you have no taste
