An awesome and show stealing bit of kit from Stuttgart, making green sexy and all that. What we will all driving in 10 or 15 years, no doubt.
But noone is quoting weight or torques for this car, just HP. I wonder what it could do without the 4wd, without the batteries and electric motors - just 500 neddies and all that extra lightness.... |

+1 KSG, commies do suck. BTW Venezuela does have free gas, you can go wherever you want and not worry about gas cost, but there's no food, electricity or running water, so if you don't mind starving in the dark you can go from A to B as many times as you want to. and if you whine about it the commie govt will be happy to bash your brains in til you are happy with driving hungry in the dark again Damn comunists.

I sometimes borrow a car, then I pay something between € 1,40 and € 1,50 per liter at the pump.
That would be € 5,30 and € 5,70 per gallon and converted to green bits of paper: US$ 6.70 and US$ 7.20 per gallon.

I guess everyone missed the part about only 16 miles on electric charge. Plus it will cost at least $80,000 to $100,000 for the basic model. And, how long do you need to charge it before you can drive again? When they have a full electric SUV that will go 600 miles on one charge, costs about $30,000 and only takes 1 hour to charge it fully; then, I will buy one.

That 500hp V8 isn't going get 70mpg...
The article talks about 4 different power modes, so maybe it will be abled to run the motor on 4 cylinders only. Interesting concept car...really sexy. BB
