Psoriasis, cured?

I've had Psoriasis for over twenty years on my scalp. And all of a sudden it dissappeared. I noticed this a few months ago. I've tried to think of what could have done this via my diet and enviroment. I'm constantly improving my eating habits. Mostly gluten free, dairy free, MSG free foods. Organic where possible. Mostly to adapt to my son's sensitivities. But, wow! This is a great burden of my shoulders. I'm new and improved! Now my wife can run her fingers through my hair without going, "Ew!"

Thanks for reading!

Re: Psoriasis, cured?

I started a gluten free diet about 6 months ago.Made a huge difference in my energy levels.
But the last few weeks I have slowly gone back to my old ways.

Did you drink beer before? Beer always makes psoriasis worse.

Yes, and still do. And yes it did make it worse when I had it. Usually the next day. I really can't explain the sudden change. If it comes back I'm gonna be really angry!

Re: Psoriasis, cured?

look up Celiac Disease. those with the disorder could have a lifelong gluten allergy with a HUGE variance in symptoms and not even know the root cause.

Yeah, I'm aware of Celiac. Haven't been tested, but my doctor doesn't think it is. Not to be ruled out though. I must mention that I'm not gluten free any more and haven't been for some time. I've weened myself back to normal but healthier choices.
