How to Watch High Quality YouTube Videos

Here's a neat trick. Simply add the code "&fmt=18" (without the quotes) at the end of any YouTube video URL. For example, here's the regular URL to my R9 video:

YouTube - 1959 Reissue Les Paul Lemonburst

Now, when I add the code "&fmt=18" at the end of the URL, my video is in higher quality:

it must depend on the file thats uploaded. I didnt see a difference on some other stuff but on your I can see it.

Ditto. My older videos don't show any difference. But recently, YouTube has improved. So using the code Alex has shown, will make a difference on recently uploaded videos.

I just finally splurged for a new Sony Video Digital Camera
so i can Finlay make decent videos, instead of using
my Digital still Cameras video
16bit stereo also

Even with the HQ setting i couldn't get my videos
before to look or sound any better.

I was amazed how tiny the new Digital Video camcorders
are, and how cheap

I can hear a difference, but not always see it. Sound is improved though, for sure.
