Re: ACORN Still Allowed To Operate...
The point is that they should all be pulling jail time. That goes for their enablers as well.

Lets see ACORN or Goldman Sachs. Which group has the tightest reign on our government, influences more policy decisions, received the largest amount of money in federal bailouts, and is still making obscene profits and... stands to gain even more through cap and trade? ACORN is small potatoes and is a convenient political target. Want to get riled up read up on Goldman Sachs.

Re: ACORN Still Allowed To Operate...
Like I said.....Both of them. Now we're down to which one is worse??? No.. fuck 'em both!
As far as I'm concerned, in this day and age and in looking at the face of the legislative and executive branches, I would say that ACORN IS the government.

Goldman Sachs has controlled the government for far longer. Maybe you forgot Geithners phone records that were recently released where he speaks to Goldman and the banks over 80 times in a few days. They throw more money into campaign funding than ACORN ever did.

I don't remember GS walking the streets going after citizens blindly for voting, and or registering "Donald Duck" and the like to vote for Obama. Not to mention doubles also.......

Re: ACORN Still Allowed To Operate...
Quote:
Government Sachs, didn't have to resort to those measures to take over the government, which they effectively have in the past 20 years. Controlling governmental monetary policy controls all US policy. "Indeed, Goldman’s presence in the department and around the federal response to the financial crisis is so ubiquitous that other bankers and competitors have given the star-studded firm a new nickname: Government Sachs. The power and influence that Goldman wields at the nexus of politics and finance is no accident. Long regarded as the savviest and most admired firm among the ranks — now decimated — of Wall Street investment banks, it has a history and culture of encouraging its partners to take leadership roles in public service. It is a widely held view within the bank that no matter how much money you pile up, you are not a true Goldman star until you make your mark in the political sphere." This is just one expose, but there are many many more. Read up on who really controls things. In absolute terms ACORN is merely a distraction: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/19/business/19gold.html

Re: ACORN Still Allowed To Operate...
When I see these type of posts I am thankful that I am capable of making up my own mind on the various issues of the day and don't need "talking points" to do it for me.
I guess that makes me a bit better then the many throngs of ditto heads who like to play with their puds and think it to be politically astute. |

Well, I guess the upside is that people will still be able to complain about them.

Any general will confirm there's nothing quite like a good diversionary tactic.

Re: ACORN Still Allowed To Operate...
The folks who broke the law at Enron were punished or died. ACORN is a criminal enterprise, and nobody is being punished for anything they did there. GS, didn't break any laws did they? They simply worked within the legal framework that our politicians set up for them. So, who's to blame for the GS BS? The scum sucking politicians on both sides of the aisle. Who's to blame for ACORN being allowed to continue it's criminal enterprise? Obamao and his toady Eric Holder.

Acorn was quite proud of undercover reporting, until they got busted by it.

Is that all you've got?
I ask for gold and you give me pebbles. Just rewind your little brain and replay some of the other stuff. Only a few of us would even know you hadn't had an original thought since the Nixon administration. |

Re: ACORN Still Allowed To Operate...
Being ignorant is a matter of exposure, time, and a willingness to expand one's knowledge. Being purposefully deceiving is a sign of a deeper psychosis. People who thrive on the misery of others are even one step lower on the sociopaths scale. Then there are those that not only thrive on it, but try to profit from it. We call them monsters. History is full of these types.
Take a good hard look at your self and try to be objective. |

Re: ACORN Still Allowed To Operate...
If you fully understood the nature of his post you wouldn't be saying that. This goes way back and involves a breach of personal trust and release of personal information that was given to him in confidence.
Don't trust him. You will be very sorry. |
