Tone Clips Master Series Phase SG

Here are some sound clips of the new MSP wiring installed in Alice my SG. I just got my PC studio set up last night and I was up until 2 am laying down tracks and trying to get things running right in my Computer. I put a fresh set of strings on Alice this morning and recorded these clips for you guys, hope you like them.

jonesy,

This is what immediately came to mind:

An English comedian taking the piss out of a serious song by a band called 'Smokie'. As soon as I saw you mention 'Alice', I was off...

Join in at the end of each verse. I swear if you listen to this once, you'll always have it going around in your head whenever you pick up your SG.

Re: Tone Clips Master Series Phase SG

Yeah, thanks glad you guys are digging the Tones. I am having a blast with this new 2 push pull rig. I wanted to come up with something that would work with the 2 wire PAF style pu's so I built this prototype ad installed it in Alice.

Re: Tone Clips Master Series Phase SG

sounds good do you think the 2 push/pull rig would have a much different effect on the guitars signal compared to the 4 push/pull rig?

Thanks Ben,
Not much effect on signal, the other 2 push pulls allow you to split coils is all. If your pickups are not 4 conductor that is not possible, that is why I designed this rig with the 2 push pull for 2 lead pu's. You still get all the cool phase series mods, just can't split coils.

Ha, I think it would sound awesome.
Probably a lot like my clips but through your choice of amp and eq settings etc. You would have a blast with it Travis, especially if you were using it in the studio, lot's unique of Tones out of one guitar.

The prototype MSP harness is installed in Alice and your Long shaft rig for the LP Custom was actually the first production rig that I built.

This is a pic of the rig that I built for you, it is packed up and ready to ship out tomorrow.
