Radio, IPod, or other
With all the choices available what format do you use to listen to music?
Fortunately I'm close enough to a large metropolitan area that has plenty of decent radio. In fact we have one of the best stations in the country, WXRT. Lately I've been using an app on my Blackberry called Pandora radio. You just enter in a song or a band, and it creates a station, based on that genre. So do you pay for XM/Sirius, use HD/Radio or Ipod/ MP3 ? Eight track owners need not reply, just post pics.

Re: Radio, IPod, or other
Pandora is cool. Slacker Radio is also. (for Blackberries)
I listen to XM Radio in my car. We have decent radio, but XM is fantastic. I love comedy as well - and the "explicit language" channels on XM are a nice feature that you don't get on regular radio. There are very few comedians who are funny and don't swear their asses off during their acts. There is a great blues channel that I listen to a lot - BB King's "Bluesville." |

1-Sirius - Around town to and from airport.
2-iPod - when I'm on the road away from home base with is 70% of the time. On the airplane to and from home. 3 - once in a great great while when the rent a car I have doesn't have an aux input or sirius.

Pandora at home, iPod when I'm shopping with the Wife and XM when I'm on the road.

Re: Radio, IPod, or other
On a GOOD day there's maybe 3-4 FM stations available out where I am. The 2 strong stations come in from about an hour away from either direction. So if you go too far East you lose one, too far to the west you lose the other. So I rarely listen to the radio for long in the car.
Most of the time it's my Blackberry through a FM transmitter into my car stereo. At home it's through my PC, or Vinyl.

Re: Radio, IPod, or other
Music on my PC (digitally, not through CD) most of the time when i'm in the house. I only use my Hi-Fi (CD's) occasionally. If i'm out the house it's my iPod! I'd be lost without it.
