Still funny(odd) in my neck of the woods if you don't have at least one dog.

Yeah there ya go..Typical woman.. We have our shampoos. Everything is in the plural at least.

What's wrong with having one bottle of shampoo like I do. My daughter has got all kinds of stuff up there.

I have just gone to have a look round the bath.

Shine shampoo
Colour repair therapy.
Body wash
Leg shaving cream
Bergamot body wash.
Pez Aerobronze
Frieda Frizz ease
Eye makeup remover
Dior bronze
Moisturizing cream.
Pineapple body lotion
Cocoa butter
Foam bath Lavender
Foam bath. Essential moods
Various soaps.
Candles.

And that's only round near the bath. That's not including other stuff in a rack near the bath, or what is in my daughters room or mine for that matter.
I could could start up a bloody beauty salon with all the stuff we have in this house.

My wife and daughter seem to share all this stuff, which makes it worse when my wife asks me, has Lauren taken the skin wipes again? How the fuck should I know?
The only thing they seem to not use of eachothers is perfume. My daughter uses Vivian Westwood something or another and my wife Elizabeth Arden something or another.
I'm being swamped by a sea of black eyeliner pencils here..

My wife does the same thing, moves my stuff, has extra crap where it doesn't need to be. Drives me nuts, but all I do is ask "where is.....?" and she knows exactly where it's at.

My wife claims I have "Front of the shelf syndrome".
That is an afflection where you can only see whats at the front of the shelf......
If i'd had wanted a mystery i'd read one, why is it I can NEVER find anything?? Even tho I just put it down??
She can find whatever I'm looking for, from across the room.
It just isn't fair!

I have two different shampoos and 2 different conditioners. I switch every now and again because supposedly it's good for your hair to change shampoos once in awhile. My husband is more than welcome to use my shampoos but because they are for highlighted hair, I think he's afraid to touch the stuff for fear he'll end up with stripes or green hair or something like that.

Re: Why do women always hide and move things?

I have just asked my daughter who has come in from riding her horse.

She said that men are basically lazy selfish bastards who expect us to do everything for them and unfortunately some women do.

Whether she's joking or not I'm not sure, but she laughed when she walked off.

She's got that one right on!....but the good ones are trainable!

Honestly, I feel your pain there. I have one shampoo, one soap and all cosmetics fit in one drawer in the vanity!
I actually have the smaller sink/vanity in the bathroom...every time I turn around my shampoo bottle or hand soap bottle has been refilled. He's got all the cabinets and half a linen closet filled with spare tubes of toothpaste, soap, shaving cream, etc.! I think it's the only thing he does do around the house! But on the positive side, we never run out of toliet paper!

Re: Why do women always hide and move things?

My wife rearranges the furniture every 3 weeks, by herself. She's too weak and feminine to take the trash out, but she can move 2500 pounds of furniture by herself...As to the bathroom, I cut all my hair off, so all I need is a bar of soap, a toothbrush and a razor and I keep them in my own special corner...And my wife says that I'm happy about this.

I always find threads about "women" funny because I find myself unable to relate to why they do it. I must be a bad wife.

I looked at the packet and they were fucking toilet cleaning wipes

WHY WERE THEY IN THE SAME PLACE AS THE MOIST ARSE WIPES!

I touch nothing in the house...Bole's the one that moves everything when he cleans. He also takes longer than I do to get ready usually.

Re: Why do women always hide and move things?

This thread does crack me up, and yes it somewhat true

Phil, guilty as charged! I have a bottle of dog shampoo on side of bath right now

However, when I was married, it was in fact my ex who had the most krap around his sink and walk in shower. On top of that, toothpaste splatters over mirror and taps (faucets), shavings left in sink and tops off every darn bottle or tube

My sink area was tidy

Now we had a large jacuzzi bath tub, and yes all the way around it had many items indeed. Some my own doing, but some his. During times when my ex did feel romantic, he got some candles, pot pourri, incense sticks and holders, natural soap bars, foot stuff and all those kind of things for me, but I didn't really use them, so there they remained
I am sure they were more of a decoration than actually using the things

Now..move forward. I gone down from 2.5 bathrooms to 1. Meaning I have to share it with my son.
Who takes over the bathroom areas? Him!
Just now I go in there to see what is around my bath and sink surfaces.

In bath/shower area:

His
Axe shampoo
Axe shower gels x 2 (different scents)
Dandruff shampoo
Men's bodywash
Men's conditioner
Shower scrub thing
Razor

Mine:
L'oreal shampoo
L'oreal conditioner
Natural soap bar (sensitive skin)
Green tea/cucumber shower cream
Shower scrub thing

2 loofers that hardly ever get used lol

Dog shampoo

Why does he need so many shower gels! lol

Around sink area..
Axe deodrant bar
Axe deodrant spray
Razor
Floss
Toothpaste
Shaving foam
Toothbrushes

Me: Deodrant
One tube of cream
Hair mousse
Toothpaste
Toothbrush

Now granted we also have things in the cupboards but who has taken over the surfaces

And Phil, I do believe this thing with men not finding things is in their genes or something, it has already started with my son!
He swears it wasn't there!

Harmony,
Things aren't there when you send us to find/fetch them. When you lot then go to get them, you magic them into place...

I've NEVER worked that one out.

Of course John, of course

The classic is always the fridge. It isn't there, it isn't there, and I go there..it is there staring at you!

My dad would always lose his glasses, go around moaning, humming and argh'ing.. and when I ask him what is wrong.. I tell him..Dad, it is there on yer head or around his neck on those spectacles neck holder things.
