Re: How were you introduced to MLP
I've told this one a few times, but here goes..
I'm a long time member of the other lp forum and one day I noticed a few people talkin smack about some new place called mylespaul. I cruised on over here to see what all the fuss was about and I never left. ![]() ![]()

Re: How were you introduced to MLP
True........
I was looking for a part I think for a les paul or maybe looking for a particular guitar I can't honestly remember. Anyways, I was googling away and clicked a link that came straight to a thread by a guy named Boleskinehouse. There was a picture of a cat sitting in a guitar case that looked like it had a cigarette hanging out of its mouth. It looked cool anyway. So I read what this Boleskinehouse was going on about and it was all total bollocks but hilarious. I never left!!

Re: How were you introduced to MLP
I remember I got banned permanently from Ultimate Guitar and I wanted to find another place that was not all about the same EMG/Metal/Ibanez/How much more gain I need questions. Not that any of those things are bad. I love Ibanez,EMg,and metal but always asking about it gets kinda annoying. So I ended up coming here in January of 2008. I signed up and I went on with my day. In april I was looking for something on Les Paul Deluxes and I stumbles across here again. I thought it was a great place but I didin't really remember it. I went to go register and it said I was already a member and have not left since.

Re: How were you introduced to MLP
I remember looking up some LP stuff one day clicked on this site and the first thread or post I read was from Phil47uk. The guy cracked me up but he also had a lot of good info, so I stuck around.
Thanks Phil : )

Re: How were you introduced to MLP
Found the place over a year ago for something I can't remember. I think I was looking for a forum to discuss techniques and the like, and just registered on the spot but kept lurking. Decided not to be shy one day and just started posting when I was bored.

Re: How were you introduced to MLP
I was looking for information about two secondhanded lp's I wanted to buy. One a '86 was afraid that it could be a Norlin, bad rep they got and all, and if it had a three piece maple neck and that kind of stuff. Probably got that information from here already while lurking I guess. Joined up and remember Bole helping me out with the information. Ended up with a '89 standard ebony.

I got piss drunk and passed out.
When I woke, up here I was. The barkeeps are homely as a drum of bum, but there's always service with a smile.

Re: How were you introduced to MLP
Bored as all hell, googled "Epiphone les paul"...Found a link to here, and never left. The "Les Paul" forum was not for me. They always have thier panties in a wad, or thier hair on too tight over there for me. Guitar playing should be fun, I think. Not so serious you'd expect a hanging any minute! Over there, they have rules for following thier rules!
And I don't know if any of y'all have visited the Gibson forum...BORING!!!.... Ain't no place like dis place so dis must be da place...Mayng!
