Somehow I missed the entire V thing in the 80s...those were my boozing/drugging/partying years and I didn't have time for, or desire for TV. I saw a little bit of an episode of the original on the SciFi channel the other night...holy crap! The acting and special effects were uber-cheesy.

I enjoyed it and think it has some potential. I didn't follow the old series, though I know the story. I'm a big sci-fi fan so this is right up my alley. I dig the chick - she is from Serenity. Too bad it's not her real skin!

I'm glad sci-fi is tackling some social and political issues. The whole Obama worship going on the past year and a half was very disturbing to me... and I hated Bush! No political leader should be above intense scrutiny. It looks like this show is questioning that in it's own way.
