I know kids who listen to all the death metal stuff who have no idea who Sabbath or Zeppelin are, in which case it is sad that they listen to all that without knowing the Greats.
Because they were never introduced to it, i feel like im the only kid who appreciates good music, im actually wearing a zeppelin shirt right now.

p.s. i fixed it for you because it's incorrect in your name.
apostrophes denote possession (john's) or abbreviation (can't)
when using them in a date you are abbreviating. put the apostrophe where you are abbreviating. in this case you are leaving off the "19" in "1980s". so put it before the "8". the way you write it it means that rocker belongs to the number 80.
if you write it '80s rocker "'80s" becomes the descriptor of "rocker". which is your intent.

i was simply refusing to participate in your incorrect use of the english language.

I actually didn't think about just abreviating 80 from 1980, just my name

Also I love how in the sentence "i was simply refusing to participate in your incorrect use of the english language, you did not capitalize your i (first word of sentence) and the word English.

Sorry man, lol I am just bustin' your chops, and could not resist to point that out.
