Really? I kind of like the distinctive fade of the darker edges. I don't know if the VS is too dark though. It's going to be my boyfriends guitar but I'm paying for it so I'd like to like the color choice too. Lol.

Oh my god sin an SG doesnt sound as good as an LP I know I got one. Its a good guitar but I wouldnt get another one.

Well I guess the pic did upload. Dont get me wrong its nice but I think it looks old and fadded whe its lighter.

Id get a set of strings (The first thing you change on a new guitar..)
Some Polish,polishing cloth,picks,The little odds and ends that goes with a guitar...
Wrap them up in a big box together, And give them to him.......Wait on the guitar until later....

....Let him sweat it out and wonder about it..

.........But Im cruel that way....

Please do I would love to see this. I love my SG Sin but it will never ever EVER sound as good. Its close, but I was doing the Pepsi challenge here at home earlier, and I had to put the SG away it just aint got it man.

Unless you play guitar (or maybe you have enough experience with guitar) it is very hard to tell when a guitar is a lemon or not. A luthier will be able to set the action, check for buzzing and that the parts are fitted correctly etc.

I don't play any guitar, just appreciate good music. I suppose I could take it to get checked out. On the other hand I could present the possible problems to my boyfriend after he's opened it and then we can get it checked out. I just don't know if I want to do too much tampering or anything before I've actually given it to him.
